Center for Studies on Justice in Organizations (GIUNO)

Contenuto

The Center for Studies on Justice in Organizations is part of the Department of Communication and Economics, aimed at promoting research on justice within organizational contexts. It integrates managerial perspectives with those from anthropology, philosophy, and social psychology. The center focuses on human resource management and organizational design, examining the relationship between justice and HRM approaches, both established and emerging. The center also houses the OPERA research unit, which specializes in creativity and innovation across various sectors and domains (individuals, organizations, territories).

In recent years, the GIUNO Center and the OPERA Unit have coordinated and conducted numerous research projects funded both by the university (e.g., FAR Interdepartmental Projects) and external entities, both private and public (e.g., Municipality of Reggio Emilia, PNRR, Emilia-Romagna Region). These projects cover topics such as labor transformations (e.g., digitalization, smart working), sustainability and social impact, collaborative spaces (e.g., coworking, cultural and creative hubs), cultural organizations, and public policies for creativity and innovation.
