How to Register for Exams

To take exams and record grades, you need to register for the exam sessions. Go to  the website www.esse3.unimore.it in your "Student Area," under "Exam Sessions." To access the system, you must log in using the ID and password that you received upon enrollment.

You can register for exams up to five days before the exam session (CdD, 25/07/2023). Registering later is not allowed. Administrative personnel cannot register you after the official deadline.

If you are not ready for an exam, you must cancel your registration. Cancellation must also be done on www.esse3.unimore.it in the "Exam Sessions Notice Board" section, within five days of the exam date.

How to Record Exams

You will receive  communication of the outcome of the exam on your UNIMORE email. You can also view exam results on www.esse3.unimore.it, in the "Results Notice Board" section. To complete the recording process, you must accept or reject the exam result as follows:

(a) To accept exam results, no action is required , in line with the principle of tacit approval.
(b) To reject exam results, click on the icon in the matching box. This will prevent the creation of the record, and will allow you to re-register and retake the exam. You can reject the result by the date set by the teacher, which will be specified in the results notice board. After this date, the grade that has not been rejected will be recorded online, and it cannot be changed.

Before rejecting the exam result, and no later than the set deadline, you can meet your professor to review your exam paper during set office hours or by appointment at other times.

Number of Exam Sessions

The Department guarantees 6 exam sessions per year for each subject, except for language courses, which have 4 exam sessions per year.

Any restrictions to the number of sessions per calendar year are detailed in the guidelines attached below. They were approved by the Academic Senate on 11/07/2023.
