Course Presentation

The main objective of the degree programme is to train specialists in coordinating and managing innovation processes involving internal and external corporate communication, as well as experts in digital, advertising, and multimedia communication.

The course includes the acquisition of advanced skills in psychology, linguistics, semiotics, sociology, and data analysis, as well as in corporate communication. These fundamental competences are necessary to deepen professional skills related to strategic models of brand and advertising communication, the use of the internet to develop skills related to new media, the creation of specific languages ​​for multimedia communication, and emerging managerial models for communication management, which involve the use of innovative languages and content.

The Master’s Degree Course in Advertising, Digital Communication and Creative Business Processes has open admission.

To enrol in the course with an Italian qualification, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Curricular Requirement: you must have obtained (or obtain by 22 December 2025) a Bachelor's degree in one of the degree classes specified in the call for applications (such as L-1, L-3, L-5, etc.), or a Bachelor's degree in a different class but with at least 30 ECTS credits acquired in specific disciplinary-scientific sectors listed in the call.
  • Language Requirement: you must demonstrate proficiency in English with at least 6 ECTS in the L-LIN/12 sector with a passing grade, or hold an English language certificate at B1 level or higher, or provide a declaration from your home university certifying that the required level has been achieved.
  • Admission Test: you must sit and pass a written test to verify the adequacy of your academic preparation. The test will cover knowledge of Linguistics, Computer Science and Social Sciences and will take place in the computer labs of the Department (Palazzo Dossetti, Viale Allegri 9, Reggio Emilia).
