The Degree Program aims to train young managers and administrators to operate in both profit and non-profit contexts according to the principles of economic management, environmental, and social sustainability. The course takes into account the specificities of the two classes in which it is established, LM-77 Economics and Business Management and LM-63 Public Administration Sciences and is designed as an interdisciplinary course. This approach allows for the application of management skills acquired in both public and private organizations, with a solid foundation of legal, socio-economic, and management knowledge oriented towards sustainability. The course is jointly managed by the Department of Communication and Economics (academic and administrative headquarters), the Department of Economics ‘Marco Biagi’ and the Department of Law, in order to ensure a proper integration of different competences.

From the academic year 2025/2026, the Master's Degree Course in Economics and Law for Sustainable Organizations (EDISO) joins the EDUNEXT project, promoted by MUR.
The Master's Degree Course will be delivered mainly in distance learning mode; a blended teaching method in which face-to-face and online activities are integrated.
N.B.: this modality applies exclusively to students enrolled in the 2025/2026 academic year.
Each course corresponds to an Educational Cluster, consisting of several modules, include forms of in itinere evaluation and the subsequent issuing of Open Badges.
Upon completion of all the modules that make up the Educational Cluster, there is an overall final assessment, which enables the acquisition of CFUs. The completion of the Educational Cluster also includes the release of a Milestone Badge.
The reference figures on each teaching are:
a) course lecturer, who delivers the teaching activity;
b) disciplinary tutor, who provides assistance in understanding and assimilating the teaching content, overcoming any difficulties in the approach to study and keeping motivation high.
EDUCATION is divided as follows:
Online Education
Online education consists of:
- Video-recorded lessons: video lectures by the lecturer;
- Interactive teaching: these are e-tivity (e.g. guided discussions, collaborative projects, formative feedback tools, etc.) and interactive and collaborative activities (e.g. interactive videoconferencing, assignments, group work, formative evaluations, etc.)
Face-to-face teaching
The lectures are always divided into two semesters.
The face-to-face activities of the courses in that semester are concentrated only on certain days of the week and in residential weeks spread throughout the year.
More details can be found on the Moodle pages of the individual lectures: https://moodle.unimore.it/course/index.php?categoryid=2142
