Information for Students

Contenuto

Curricular internships are aimed at students who need to complete an internship as part of their academic program to obtain their Bachelor's or Master's degree.

CHARACTERISTICS
Internships can be undertaken at national and international companies, public and private organizations, and trade associations. It is essential that:

  • The tasks performed be relevant to the student's field of study;
  • The work be continuous for the internship period.

Internships CANNOT be undertaken at organizations where the responsible manager has family ties or affinity with the intern up to the 2nd degree, pursuant to the General University Regulations on internships (UNIMORE - Regulations), which all students are encouraged to read.

Students can search for an internship independently or turn to the Internship Office for support. At the bottom of this page, you can find the list of all partner organizations. You can also view their internships and job offers for students and graduates herehttps://placement.unimore.it/lau/annunci/bachecaannunci.aspx?lang=it&tipobacheca=TIROLAV
For more offers, visit the Internship Office's Moodle page (https://moodle.unimore.it/course/view.php?id=6713)

Internship activation is done through an online platform. For detailed information on the process, consult the specific subdirectory (Internship Platform >> Instructions for Students).

DEPARTMENT RULES
Access Procedures for Bachelor's Degrees (DM 270/04): MOI-SCO-ADIF

  • The internship is mandatory for all students enrolled in the third year of the Bachelor's degree programs (DM 270/04) in MOI, SCO, and ADIF.
  • Internship activation is only possible after obtaining at least 102 credits from mandatory exams in the relevant study programme (Department Council Resolution, 20/12/2016).
  • Each internship must be a minimum of 225 hours (9 ECTS).
  • For ADIF, internships are a minimum of 450 hours (18 ECTS).

Access Procedures for Master's Degrees (DM 270/04): PICI – MCI – EDISO

  • Master's students can start the internship without credit or exam restrictions from the second semester of the first year.
  • The Master's degree programmes in MCI and PICI require a mandatory internship of at least 150 hours for 6 ECTS.
  • The EDISO programme requires a mandatory internship of at least 225 hours for 9 ECTS.

Access Procedures for the Bachelor's Degree (DM 270/04) in Digital Marketing

  • The degree programme includes two mandatory internships, one during the second year and one during the third year.
  • Both internships must last at least 375 hours (15 ECTS).
  • Internships are done at partner companies or other structures proposed by the student, subject to departmental approval.

The Internship Office only activates the mandatory curricular internships in the study programme.

The Department of Communication and Economics does not act as a promoter for internships if the student has already completed the mandatory curricular internship.

The only exception is when activating curricular internships for Bachelor's/Master's students who are doing an internship directly related to their thesis preparation in agreement with their supervisor. In this case, their supervisor must contact the Internship Office and communicate the need for the second internship. Any second internship must be completed before the graduation date and will not be credited.

The mandatory internship in the study programme CANNOT be replaced by elective exams. Elective exams must be completed solely by passing exams, see  https://www.dce.unimore.it/en/education/optional-elective-courses
