PUBLISHING INTERNSHIP OFFERS
Companies and organizations interested in hosting an intern can use the free services of the University Placement portal, especially for publishing announcements and viewing CVs: http://www.orientamento.unimore.it/site/home/orientamento-al-lavoro-e-placement/aziende-ed-enti/articolo90046412.html

Additionally, companies can directly contact the Internship Office of the Department to post internship positions and request advice on how to effectively advertise their offer among students.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE INTERNSHIP
The internship does not constitute an employment; however, it can be a valuable opportunity for the company to assess the potential employment of new human resources.

There are two types of internships:

  1. Curricular Internships, which constitute an integral part of the academic programmes of Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Their purpose is to provide the ECTS credits that are required for graduation, in line with specific university regulations.
  2. Extracurricular Internships, aimed at new graduates seeking to enter the job market. The applicable regulations are those of the Region where the internship takes place. Currently, the Department does not activate extracurricular (postgraduate) internships. Their activation through the UNIMORE Internship Platform has also been suspended.

ACTIVATION
The Department of Communication and Economics uses the UNIMORE Placement Services Internship Platform for the activation of curricular internships for its students. Companies can access the Platform after registering for free. For more on the process, consult the subdirectory “Internship Platform >> Guidelines for Companies”.

You can submit the documents that are required to start the internship through the Portal. These comprise:

1. Agreement, made between the University (the Promoter) and the company/organization (the Host).

2. Training Project, which provides information on the particular internship, including:

  • Personal data of the intern;
  • Objectives and content of the internship;
  • Insurance coverage provided by the University (Promoter);
  • Duration and dates of the internship.

During the internship, the University provides insurance coverage (Civil Liability and Accidents) for the intern.
