MCI - Personal Preparation Test

The 50-minute test consists of a computer-based test comprising 45 multiple-choice questions with four possible answers, of which only one is correct.

To take the personal preparation assessment test, you must have submitted your APPLICATION FOR ASSESSMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS in ESSE3 IN DEFINITIVE FORM.

The questions will cover the following topics:

  • 15 questions on business economics (SECS-P/07);
  • 15 questions on economics and business management (SECS-P/08);
  • 15 questions on organizational management (SECS-P/10).

The reference texts for test preparation are as follows:

  • Airoldi G, Brunetti G. Coda V., 2020, "Corso di economia aziendale," Il Mulino, Bologna
  • Lambin J.J., "Market-Driven Management," Italian edition translated by Emanuela Tesser, 8th edition, MacGraw Hill, 2021
  • Isotta F., 2011, "La progettazione organizzativa," Cedam: chapters 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8

The result of the test result is determined by the number of questions answered correctly, incorrectly, or not answered. This results in an absolute score which is derived from:

  • 1 point for each correct answer;
  • 0 points for each incorrect or unanswered question.

The minimum score to be admitted is 18/45. If you do not achieve this score, you may retake the test.

  • June 10, 2025, 2:00 PM, Laboratory 1012
  • July 17, 2025, 10:00 AM, Laboratory 1012
  • September 25, 2025, 10:00 AM, Laboratory 1012
  • November 11, 2025, 2:00 PM, Laboratory 1012
  • December 16, 2025, 10:00 AM, Laboratory 1012 (valid only for those already in possession of the curricular requirements)

Students are informed that, due to the limited capacity of the laboratory, the test may be divided into several consecutive rounds. All students are required to arrive at the starting time indicated in the convocation. Assignment to a later round will take place according to available capacity. Any delays will not be justified.

To register for the test:

  1. Access https://concorsi.unimore.it/course/index.php?categoryid=7 and log in using the Unimore Single Sign-On with the credentials provided during registration on Esse3;
  2. Sign up for the "Admission Tests for Master's Degree Courses 2025";
  3. Sign up for the chosen test date based on the Course of Study (registration is possible within two days of the test date).
